Exclusive! Kim Kardashian Wedding Photos Bought By People Magazine For More Than $500K!
A source confirms to Entertainment Lobby that People magazine will publish a massive pictorial of Kim and Kris Humphries‘ wedding, in the issue that hits newsstands in New York and Los Angeles next Wednesday, August 24. The issue will be available in the rest of the country by Friday, Aug. 26. The cover of the issue will also feature the wedding.
A New York Post report earlier this summer that claimed People had paid in excess of $1 million “is ridiculous. It’s nowhere near $1 million,” according to an insider familiar with negotiations. The source says People will spending upwards of $500,000 for the photos—but not near $1 million.
Another source says it’s a no-brainer that Kim’s wedding photos will be in People. “She has a great relationship with the magazine, she and her sisters have done their other life milestones with the magazines, and it’s the most credible and legitimate of all the weeklies. Plus, People has the money to spend on these photos. Not to mention it has millions more readers than the other celeb weeklies. It’s not at all a surprise it’ll be People’s cover.”
